One of the most common renovations we are asked to do are tub and shower surrounds—an instant way to update your home for your enjoyment or in preparation to sell. Shower surrounds are typically done in a one row style or to the ceiling. They can be done with any kind of tile, however 12×12 or 13×13 is the most commonly used tile.

Tub surrounds are done with any variety of tile and usually have a 3″-6″ mosaic insert as well. Another kind of installation that we frequently do is in ensuite bathrooms. These usually consist of a stand up shower with a connected jacuzzi tub surround for a luxurious feel. Below are some examples and explanations of this kind of work.

Bathroom Vanities

Bathroom vanities often accompany the installation of shower and tub surrounds. They’re an affordable way to add a lovely feature to your bathroom and prevent water damage to the walls.

They can be set in a number of ways: solely as a 6″ insert around the counter top, as an extension joining with the shower surround, or even becoming a full wall feature to add a unique, focal point design. The most requested bathroom vanity tile design is mosaic tile, however, they can also be done using 12×12 tile cut in half, or most any tile you desire.
